How could they?!

Today I was at work and noticed a lot of bikers coming into the store. Well, when I went on break, I was walking to my car and there were at least 100 bikers outside in the parking lot and I noticed a tv camera man. What was this? Later, I found it was the Patriot Guard Riders. It's a group of bikers who are in support of the troops. The 2 main things they are there for are : 1. Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities. 2. Shield the mourning family and friends from interruptions created by any protestor or group of protestors.
The protestors they are referring to are groups from churches.. Churches! I couldn't believe this! The group that was supposedly at the funeral today was from New York. These people go out and protest against the war in Iraq and what not at the fallen heroes' funerals. How could they do this?!!!! Have they not heard of respect?! Could they not let the families of these soldiers have a peaceful service for their loved one?! I'm sure the protestors would get angry if someone came to their funeral and was protesting. This angers me and it should be stopped! HAVE SOME RESPECT!!!!!
The guy for whom the bikers were riding was Daniel Allman from Franklin County Georgia. He was only 20. He has a 2 year old daughter. I work with the daughter's mother. Please pray for peace for the family of Daniel.

The PGR (Patriot Guard Riders) are at the funerals as invited guests of the families and we're positioned between the protesters and the police.

We stand as one,and respectfully stand for the fallen to protect those who are grieving from those who would disturb them in this somber time of morning.

Riding With Respect!

Dave,
I really think the PGR is a great group. I'm glad that you all are there for the family and protect them from those idiots who are there to disturb and protest.
Keep of riding with respect!! :)
