Snow White Heaven
From Thursday to Saturday, it rained. And rained. And rained. I knew not to get my hopes up about the forecast of snow on Sunday. I woke up Sunday. It was raining. And raining. And raining. Then.... SNOWING!
I was standing in the kitchen making chicken and dumplins and looked out the window and saw the joy falling from the sky. That joy ladies and gentlemen was snow! I thought a quick snow shower would be all and it would even stick. Boy was I wrong. Six inches and a couple of fallen trees in the yard and road and this is what we have...
No power... so we grilled a pizza...
No lights.... had to break out the oil lamp.

Grills certainly come in handy at times like those, huh?
My former neighbour used to BBQ pizza. I thought it was the oddest thing :)
Yuck. We dealt with this last month. Hope you're staying warm and you get power back soon!
